SERENE-RISC launches its “career opportunities” news section

SERENE-RISC Partners, co-Investigators and Affiliates can now benefit from a new “career opportunities” news section on www.serene-risc.ca. Starting today, they can have their job or internship posting posted on the Website and shared on social media, reaching dozens of highly qualified personal such as graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and early career professionals. To share a career opportunity offer, members need only to contact the Network.

Students and professionals involved with SERENE-RISC, as well as the general public, will also obviously benefit greatly from this new section. Interested applicants will be able to find details about the Network members’ postings and will be directed to the proper webpage to apply for the position.

DRDC is looking for entry-level analysts

Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) is seeking recently graduated applicants with Masters or Doctorate degrees for entry-level Defence Scientist positions to be filled starting summer 2015. The competition closes 30 March 2015. 

The Agency is recruiting analysts into two related organizations within DRDC: the Centre for Operational Research and Analysis (CORA) and the Director General Military Personnel Research and Analysis (DGMPRA), both based in Ottawa.  CORA operates additional field sites at various locations across Canada and in the U.S. including Victoria, Winnipeg, Kingston, Trenton, Halifax and Colorado Springs.

Preference will be given to Canadian citizens graduating with honours standing in operational research, management science, statistics, mathematics, physics, physical sciences, engineering, economics, history, political science, international relations, military/strategic/war studies, psychology, sociology, epidemiology, organizational behaviour or another scientific discipline related to Operational Research, Strategic Analysis or Social Science Research.
