Recognition award
It was with great pride and immense gratitude that SERENE-RISC accepted an award presented by the Honourable Gilles LePage on behalf of CyberNB and Opportunities NB at the CyberSmart Summit 2018 on May 15th in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
This award was given in recognition of the Network’s demonstrated spirit of collaboration and partnership for its work in improving the general public’s awareness of cybersecurity risks.
Known as a knowledge mobilization network, one way that the Network has distinguished itself is by creating Cybersec101, an on-line education resource tool kit presented in collaboration with public libraries and other community groups across the country.
With its innovative approaches, SERENE-RISC is establishing itself as an integral part of the cybersecurity community in Canada.
